How to become a Gemologist
A true gemologist will generally have a diploma he earned by completing a gemological curriculum outlined by a recognized institution. A comprehensive diploma program in gemology is offered in gemology schools like the Gemological Institute of America where students learn about analysis, grading, buying, selling and pricing of precious gems like diamonds and other coloured stones.
